Tortillas are a Mexican staple that can be found at any Mexican feast, but they can also be found in most American pantries as well. Americans use tortillas not only to create Mexican spicy mexican lasagna roll ups, but to also create American meals as well. Here are just ten ways you can use this Mexican staple.

Imagine finally having access to "Aunt Mildred's" famous sweet roll recipe, or the mexican lasagna from the lady down the street that everyone in town talks about. When potential donors realize what a treasure it is, they will be more than anxious to get one.

Step One: Coat a frying pan lightly with cooking oil. (You may also use cooking spray for less calories.) Place 1 lb stew meat in pan. Cook slow cooker mexican lasagna until brown. Meat does not need to be cooked all the way.*To save time, you can brown stew meat ahead of time. After browning, place in freezer. This will keep the meat fresh for a few months. If browning the meat the day before, place in refrigerator.

When cooking, make sure that you never put anything metal in the microwave, as it will cause sparks given the electromagnetic energy. Always make sure that the items you are microwaving are safe to put in there. This will help to increase your level of safety when you are in the kitchen.

But, none of the gluten eaters ever shied away from my mother's homemade chili lasagna enchiladas. They are a family favorite, even to this day. Hopefully you'll have the same results if you experiment with her easy, tried and true recipe for a gluten free dinner.

San Jose Art Museum is a diamond in the rough for museums. It's a small museum that is housed in a two story building with a basement. They are very innovative in their exhibits. I went to Andy Warhol Print Exhibit in 2009 where the pieces were from the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh. The exhibit showcased his prints in multimedia with a documentary film about his life that was set in a loop. San Jose Art Museum has state of the contemporary exhibits that are fun and interesting. The Frida Kahlo exhibit was amazing that showcased her art work and life. This is a museum that is worth the admission fee.

The service at El Pinto is excellent and there is plenty of space for guests. While the restaurant is in the outskirts of central Albuquerque, it's worth the drive. I have attended a few special events in El Pinto's outdoor eating area, and their catered buffet style dinner was just as good. El Pinto is a great place to bring guests or to enjoy delicious and authentic Mexican food. Their prices are a little high if you are ordering entrees for lunch or dinner, but if you are dining over the weekday lunch-hour, the buffet can save you money and will offer more choices.
